Laura is a full-time artist based in Bielefeld, Germany, creating vibrant abstract works that radiate energy. Born in Geneva in 1980 and raised in South-West Germany, her early life across different European cultures shaped her visual sensibility. She studied Fashion Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Trier and built a successful career in fashion before fully transitioning into painting.

Her artistic language is rooted in color and rhythm. Laura approaches painting with a designer’s sensibility, where shapes interact like elements of a pattern. Since shifting fully to painting in September 2020, she has developed her practice independently through consistent self-management, discipline and a strong connection with collectors around the world. Today her works are collected in 25 countries across four continents: Germany, Austria, Sweden, Finland, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Spain, Cyprus, Ireland, France, Italy, Czech Republic, Portugal, UK, Switzerland, Canada, USA, Australia, China, Thailand, Japan, Israel, UAE and Bahrain.

As her practice continues to evolve, Laura increasingly allows the painting process to unfold more openly. Colors move freely across the surface, creating spontaneous moments that she later balances with deliberate form. Occasionally she incorporates sewn fabric fragments, referencing her fashion design roots. While her techniques continue to expand, her intention remains constant: to create artworks that spark an immediate sense of happiness in the viewer.
